Congratulations to our STB clients on receiving their federal ITAs!

All five clients are Nova Scotia graduates or LMIA work permit holders, with work permits expired or expiring soon. All received their NSEE nominations in the first week of August.

Quick Tip: NSEE is not simply about CRS scores. Eligible applicants can consider applying after one year of work experience in Nova Scotia. It can be a good option for applicants with older age, average language skills, or education.

A provincial nomination adds:

+600 CRS points

Applicants then enter the Express Entry stream. In general, federal processing may take around 4–6 months.

At the federal EE stage, applicants may change or leave their job, or wait outside Canada. Eligible applicants may also apply for a 2-year Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP).
